Review: Lush Angel's Delight Soap

A slice of Angel's Delight Soap was one of the very first Lush products I ever purchased. Seeing as Luch is bringing it back again this holiday season, I figured now was as good a time as any to do a quick review on this fabulously fruity soap!

Angel's Delight is not your typical winter scent. It's a sweet, "tutti frutti"-type aroma that's sure to help you shake off the winter blues. This soap contains tangerine and sweet orange oils, so the dominant notes are very citrus-y. It's a light, happy scent that doesn't linger long after you get out of the tub or shower.

Visually, the soap is equally appealing. There's lots of fun colors going on in this one. I've never gotten a piece that had part of the moon design on it, but I understand those pieces have a bit of a gold lustre to them too.

Lush generally seems to have two "types" of soap: those that have a rich, creamy lather and those that don't lather as much but make you feel squeaky clean. Angel's Delight falls into the latter category and leaves you feeling fresh and fruity!

If you like Lush's sweeter scents, definitely give Angel's Delight a sniff this holiday season! I still have a piece all sealed up from last year, in case they didn't bring it back this time around, so I'll be happy to grab another fresh slice!

  1. I love when you post Lush reviews, but it also makes me want to go buy all of their products! I LOVE their soap. I have a box filled with goodies that I need to use ASAP. I should give this one a try when it comes back. I also really want to try Northern Lights.

    1. I'm glad you enjoy my Lush reviews! :) And I totally understand, I am the same way anytime I read about Lush! I have a ton of products at home waiting to be tried too. I have a "Lush closet" in my apartment where I keep all my goodies. It smells heavenly! I have a slice of Northern Lights that I got in an Ebay lot, but I haven't used it yet!

    2. I'm glad I'm not the only one who loves their bath products! A Lush closet? I'm jealous! That would be awesome. Have you ever tried the brand Fortune Cookie Soap Factory? They have so many fun products. I LOVE their In The Loop Soap which smells just like Fruit Loops.

    3. I have looked at the website for Fortune Cookie Soap many, many times but have yet to actually place an order with them. Their products look so fun though, so I definitely want to! I've been thinking of signing up for their quarterly boxes.

  3. I've never seen this one! I hesitate to buy Lush soaps since I have noticed that they don't last very long (at least the Honey I Washed the Kids seems to disappear quickly). Is it because they are softer than most bar soaps, or do I inadvertently use more because they smell so friggen good?
