I do remember the swiss collection but I didn't remember this polish. Perhaps this looks better than the gold polish from the Essie Metallics collection. This is interesting for me because I don't own a gold and I want to buy one.
ReplyDeleteI've only seen one swatch of the Essie gold so far, but it looks like more of a chrome-type finish, whereas Glitzerland is a foil. Essie also looks to be more noticeably cool-toned. I'm debating whether or not to get the Essie gold--and the silver one too! I looooove Glitzerland though so I think it'd be an excellent starting point if you want a gold polish. :)
DeleteI'm in the same position. I want them both... :)
DeleteNow I got this treasure and I layered OPI - Bring on the bling on the ring finger. I loooove it...

Looks beautiful! Great choice!
ReplyDeleteHow in the world does such a foil-laden gold not come out all brushstrokey? That formula is awesome!
ReplyDeleteIt's seriously one of the least brushstroke-y foils I've ever used! I love it!
DeleteI second Elizabeth, this gold is amazing just for the fact that it's chrome-like and unstreaky. Awesomesauce.
ReplyDeleteThe finish is so fabulous. Everything looks shiny and smooth. :)
DeleteWho needs more when you've got Glitzerland?!! Such a gorgeous gold!
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts exactly, Anne! :)
DeleteI have wanted this one for a while, and now I just remembered I want it even more :) Love it lady!
ReplyDeleteThanks! It's a gorgeous gold--great alone or an excellent base for layering too!
DeleteBeautiful!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous! I think I have one gold foil, but it's not as dark as this one.
ReplyDeleteEvery now and then I'll see a gold foil that catches my eye but then I remember Glitzerland. Apparently gold is the one polish color where I am monogamous hahaha.
DeleteI don't think I have a gold foil.
ReplyDeleteThis must be fixed! :)
DeleteI'm not a big fan of gold polish but this looks amazing! Maybe I will give it a try.
ReplyDeleteI really think it's the perfect gold! I'm usually a silver kind of gal but I make an exception for Glitzerland. :)
DeleteThis looks so good against your skin tone!
ReplyDeleteThanks Anna! :)
DeleteI love this polish but never bought it because I thought it would clash against my skin tone. Your photos are proof that I need this, it looks fantastic on you! (and I know we are pale twins lol)
ReplyDeleteThanks! I think it would look amazing on you! And yes, it's very true that we are pale, oily-skinned twins. :)
DeleteSo pretty!! I love gold metallics!!!
ReplyDeleteShiny!!!!!!
