Broken Curse is a blue and purple glitterbomb from Pomegranate Nail Lacquer's newest collection, Royal Fairy Tale. The blue and purple in this polish are both very rich shades and they compliment each other beautifully. I originally tried wearing this on its own, but it still wasn't at complete opacity after four coats, so this is definitely a polish best suited for layering. But no worries, it does a great job of adding some fabulous texture and sparkle to any mani! This is two coats over Pixi Amazing Amethyst.
I do wish Broken Curse was opaque enough to wear alone just to give this polish that added versatility, but I can definitely still appreciate a great layering glitter when I see one. If you missed the other polish I reviewed from this collection, Palace Gardens, you can check it out HERE.
Overall, I think the Royal Fairy Tale Collection is Pomegranate's best yet! There's a great mix of colors--some wintery, some spring-y, but all gorgeous. You can purchase Pomegranate Nail Lacquer from the brand's website.

Pomegranate Nail Lacquer Palace Gardens
I've got one of Pomegranate Nail Lacquer's newest polishes to show you today: Palace Gardens! Palace Gardens is a deep emerald shimmer. I love what a rich and saturated green this is. If you're a fan of jewel tones, check this one out!
The formula is a little thick, but it pays off in that Palace Gardens is a one-coater. This polish has the most gorgeous glow to it. I own a lot of green polishes, but this is still quite unique in my stash. With emerald making its mark as Pantone's Color of the Year for 2013, Palace Gardens makes for the perfect mix of trendy and classy.
You can purchase Pomegranate Nail Lacquer at the brand's official website.

Pomegranate Nail Lacquer Curator
I've got another new polish from Pomegranate Nail Lacquer's fall collection to show you today. Curator is a black base packed with gold and silver glitter. This would be a perfect polish for a night out!
Curator covers completely in two coats, although the formula is a bit on the thin side for my tastes. Thankfully that doesn't affect the coverage though and it wears really well. I took these pictures on day three of this mani and as you can see, I had virtually no signs of wear.
Curator is much more rocker chick than mall goth. (But hey, I went through an unfortunate quasi-goth phase in high school, so I'm not one to judge. It's best we not talk about it though. Some very bad fashion choices were made, I'll say that much.) Either way, I really love this polish! It's super glam and I felt like a badass with it on. :) There are lots of riffs on the "silver glitter in black jelly base" theme, so I like that Curator has both gold and silver to make it more unique. If you're already a fan of polishes like OPI Metallic 4 Life, Curator will be right up your alley!

Pomegranate Nail Lacquer Midnight Satellite
I have one of Pomegranate Nail Lacquer's brand new colors to share with you today: Midnight Satellite! Midnight Satellite is a rich teal base strewn with shimmering silver glitter.
Just look at how gorgeous this is! The base color is to die-for and silver glitter really kicks it up a knotch. This is definitely a fall take on teal. There's something very sophisticated and luxe to me about this color; it reminds me a bit of malachite. The formula is divine and applies in two smooth coats.
I think Tina really has a winner on her hands with this fall collection. I can't wait to show you another polish from the collection later this weekend! You can purchase Pomegranate Nail Lacquer from the brand's official website.

Pomegranate Nail Lacquer: Swatches & Review
One of my favorite things about nail blogs is discovering new brands. So when Tina from Pomegranate Nail Lacquer contacted me, I was thrilled to give a new-to-me brand a shot! And do you want to know the one thing better than discovering a new brand? Loving a new brand you've tried, which is exactly what happened in this case! Let's take a look at a little sampling of what Pomegranate Nail Lacquer has to offer, shall we?
First up is Cyberspace, a deep brown scattered holo. This reminds me of OPI My Private Jet, but with a greatly improved formula. I dunno what it is with me and MPJ, but it always chips on me within 24 hours, sometimes even 12. Not so with Cyberspace! I wore it for two days and did not experience any chipping by the time I took it off. This polish has such a glossy smooth finish to it and even in indoor lighting, the holo still glows. I really love when you have a holo where it looks like little rainbows are pulsating inside of it and Cyberspace is definitely one of those. This is three coats.
With flash:
Next we have Blue Screen of Death, a vibrant royal blue with turquoise shimmer. I love the name on this one and the color really is the perfect match for the inspiration. This shade has a lot of richness and depth to it; extremely beautiful. It's truly to die for! (Hardy har.) Blue Screen of Death may very well be my favorite of the bunch. This is two coats.
Then last but not least is Mermaid's Tail, a pastel green with a very subtle metallic shimmer. Another perfect name. This is a rather blue-based pastel green so the ocean-y, mermaid vibe is very appropriate. The shimmer on this polish is more muted on the nail than it appears in the bottle and in most lights, it looks closer to a creme than a shimmer. The official description says Mermaid's Tale has "a slight silvery shimmer," which I would say is accurate; the shimmer is much more like a silvery sheen than an outright sparkle. Enlarging the pics will give you a better idea of what I mean. But either way, the base color is still super pretty! I always fall for greens like this one.
Formula-wise, all three polishes performed well and delivered excellent coverage. They're also quite chip-resistant, in my experience. Pomegranate Nail Lacquer is three-free, cruelty-free and made in the USA. Each bottle is $9 for 0.56 oz, which is nice because you get a little more polish than with most brands. Pomegranate Nail Lacquer is available for purchase at their official website.
It's always fun to discover a new brand and I think Pomegranate Nail Lacquer is well worth checking out. They offer a good variety of colors and finishes and I really enjoyed all three polishes I tried.
