Today's polish is an oldie but a goodie: Rainbow Honey Siren Song, a shimmering aqua with gold and blue hexes, as well as blue bar glitter. It's got this blend of beachy yet ethereal vibes to it that channels all-time classics like Deborah Lippmann Mermaid's Dream. If you liked that polish, you'll definitely be a fan of Siren Song! Here it is over Nicole by OPI My Lifesaver.
Here's a shot of it in direct sunlight:
Application is a sinch--no dabbling or fishing required. I used one coat here.
You can purchase Rainbow Honey from their website.

Twinsie Tuesday: Nicole by OPI My Lifesaver
We are digging into our stashes this week to show our oldest untried polish. Mine comes way back from the Nicole by OPI Justin Beiber collaboration (I know, I know, don't judge me for buying this), which was released in 2011, a simpler time when the Biebs was considered wholesome enough to have a nail polish line for tween girls. Yes, this polish has sat in my untrieds for four freaking years. *hangs head in shame* I'm not sure what's worse: how long this has gone unworn or the fact that I own a Bieber-themed polish. I'll leave that up for you, dear reader, to decide.
I'm not a Beiber fan by any stretch of the imagination, but I got My Lifesaver anyways. I remember overcoming my distaste for Beiber in the name of awesome mint green polish. This isn't a unique color in my current stash, but back when it was released I only had a small handful of polishes, so I couldn't resist it. The Beiber association is probably why I put off wearing this for so long, because the color itself is a really lovely blue-toned mint creme.
The formula here is solid. It has a smidge of drag to it, but other than that, I've got no complaints. Even the ironically named NOPI Perfect Stroke brush, probably my most-hated brush design of all-time, didn't bother me this time around. This is three coats.
I'm really curious to see if any of my fellow Twinsies have an untried older than mine! I can't be the only one with a years-old polish hanging around...right?

Nicole by OPI Coca-Cola Preview
Nope, you didn't read wrong--OPI is doing another collab with Coca-Cola. This time, it's a part of their "little sister" brand, Nicole. I love me some Coca-Cola, but I'm not 100% convinced there was a need for another Coke-branded collection. Either way, I can't really complain, because the colors look very nice! Take a look!
Always A Classic Coca-Cola
DC Lover
Zero Is My Hero
Seriously Citrus
The Look Is Orange
In Grape Demand
I'm definitely loving on Seriously Citrus, plus DC Lover and Always A Classic Coca-Cola look promising to me as well. I was wild about Coca-Cola Red from the original OPI collection but I was originally a bit surprised they made it a creme rather than a metallic, which would match the finish on the iconic Coke cans. So I'm happy to see they put in a metallic this time around.
Look for these this March!

Nicole by OPI Seize The Summer Preview
Nicole by OPI's summer offering is a smaller one this year, but with so much going on lately with NOPI's big sister, the original OPI, it's hard to complain! The Seize The Summer Collection features four new shades, launching this June.
Lay it on the Lime
Shaved Nice
LeaPink For Joy
The Coral of the Story
LeaPink for Joy? Really, NOPI???? *sigh* It's been quite a while since I bought a NOPI polish (looking back on my blog, the last one was Just Busta Mauve from Fall 2012--incredible polish, by the way) and I don't see anything here that I think is likely to break that streak. There are some cute colors, for sure, but nothing earth-shattering to me. But I'd love to hear your thoughts on the collection in the comments section!

Nicole By OPI Roughles Preview
Nicole by OPI is bringing us a new, stucco-esque take on textures with their Roughles Collection. I gotta admit, it took me a while to understand the name. (Get it? "Rough"-les, like ruffles?)
NOPI describes these as matte textures with a "pebbled finish." Even if I wasn't quite sold on the idea of sparkle-less textures, I wound up really liking the one I tried from China Glaze a while back, so I'm willing to give these a shot!

Rock The Look
I'm Stucco On You
On What Grounds?
Sand In My Shoe
The Roughles will be released in March. Are any of these four shades on your radar?

Nicole By OPI Early 2014 Preview
Nicole by OPI is releasing 14 new shades this coming January, with everything from glitters to cremes to metallics. Take a look!
Be Awesome
Sweet Surrender
Fabulous Is My Middle Name
Always A Flirt!
Something About Spring
At Least I Pink So
I'll Have The Salmon
Oh That's Just Grape!
Yoga-Then-Yogurt
That's Putting It Mild
Taupe Of My Class
I Shop Mintage
Teal Me Something New
Emerald Empowered
The Blue Is So You
One of these shades, Fabulous Is My Middle Name, was actually a Walmart-exclusive polish back in 2012, so if you missed out then, you have a chance to snag it now! Some of these colors look similar to ones we'll be seeing in NOPI's other January release, their collaboration with Carrie Underwood, but I do think there is a nice variety of shades and finishes here overall. I'm especially curious to see how Be Awesome and I Shop Mintage look in person. What about you?

Nicole by OPI Carrie Underwood Collection Preview
Coming this January, NOPI will be teaming up with singer Carrie Underwood. The collection will feature 14 new polishes, including Carrie'd Away, a gold textured polish that NOPI has dubbed Carrie's "signature shade." Take a look!
The collection looks very nice--maybe a few too many pinks for my tastes, but that's just me. For me, Goodbye Shoes, Sweet Daisy and Carrie'd Away are the ones that jump out as polishes I might like to pick up. I'm digging the new NOPI logo too; it looks more sophisticated than the old one.
Are you happy to see Carrie as OPI's latest celebrity collaborator? What do you think of the collection?

Nicole by OPI Tink Preview
This summer, NOPI will be releasing six new shades inspired by everyone's favorite feisty fairy (say that three times fast), Disney's Tinkerbell. The collection will be released on July 1st at select Walgreen's nationwide. Take a look!
Pixie Glitter
How Fairy Nice Of You!
Tink's in the Pink
Sweet on Pete
Fairy Fairy Quite Contrary
Half Charming/Half Alarming
I dunno. There are some pretty-looking shades here, but with the exception of maybe Sweet on Pete (reminds me of her outfit), none of these really say "Tinkerbell" to me. What about a midnight blue with silver shimmer for when Tink and Peter fly through the night sky? An iridescent shade for her wings or a golden glitter polish for her fairy dust? It just seems like kind of a missed opportunity to me and I don't see much connection between the character and the colors themselves.
Remember Pixi's Tinkerbell-themed collection from a while back? I think that was a great example of a collection that captured the whimsy of the character (she's a fairy, after all) but still had grown-up appeal.
Do you see Tink in these shades? Does it matter to you if a collaboration takes direct inspiration and color queues from its namesake?

Nicole by OPI Gumdrops Preview
NOPI will be launching their own take on the textured polish trend, known as Gumdrops (not to be confused with the Julie G line of the same name). According to NOPI, the Gumdrops polishes will feature a "'sugar-like' finish that lightly shimmers with fine glitter particles." I'm really curious to see if these will be just like the liquid sand polishes or if they'll be closer to, say, Zoya PixieDust.

I Lilac Gumdrops
My Cherry Amour
Candy is Dandy
Cinna-man of My Dreams
Blue-Berry Sweet On You
A-Nise Treat
These will be available this summer. NOPI's original press release specifically mentions a Walmart launch in May, followed by CVS in June and then a wider release in August, so keep your eyes peeled for where the Gumdrops will be popping up!
