108 Degrees is a hot pink glassfleck from the Island Escape Collection. This is classic China Glaze; no one does glassflecks quite like they do. 108 Degrees not only has a beautiful shimmer, but it's also screamingly bright. This polish strikes me as very Malibu Barbie. I can see myself loving this in the summer months, on both my fingers and my toes. It may be pink but it's not boring.
I used two coats for this manicure. The formula was a little goopy but nothing unreasonable. I originally became interested in this polish because it's a dupe for OPI Be A Dahlia Won't You from the Nice Stems Collection, which of course I could no longer find once I decided I wanted it. Luckily I was able to pick 108 Degrees up during a buy 2, get 1 free China Glaze sale at Ulta and successfully conquer my lemming while saving a few bucks in the process.
If you're a pink lover, this one is a real beauty. It's very feminine and fun. If you're a pink hater, this may still spark your interest as it's got a marvelous shimmer to it, giving it a little something extra over "just another pink." I fall somewhere in between the two extremes; pink isn't my favorite polish color but I'll wear it from time to time. 108 Degrees still wound up being a winner for me. It's a good palette cleanser without being ho-hum.
I love this color!

ReplyDeleteIt is a little goopy but I do like this colour and I have it in my personal collection. ; )
Delete@TikiBarbie: Me too! Unusual for me to like a pink so much but this one is too cool.
ReplyDelete@Polish and Charms: Thank you!
@Fingers: Thanks!
@Erin Does Nails: The formula's a little wonky, yeah, but definitely worthy of keeping in a stash!
