CND Vinylux Pretty Poison

I've got another CND Vinylux polish to share from Beyond Polish today. The Vinylux line is designed to mimic the high-shine look and long wear time of Shellac polish, without the UV light. The shade I'll be showing you is called Pretty Poison. It's a blackened forest green with flecks of gold, bronze and green glitter. I love a good dark green! This is a truly gorgeous shade and would make a great polish for Christmas time too!

Pretty Poison applied beautifully and was opaque in two coats. Like the other Vinylux shade I tried, Limeade, Pretty Poison dries down to a satin finish, so topcoat is a must. There's a special Vinylux topcoat designed to give you the longest wear time, but I just used my old stand-by, Seche Vite, and the polish still wore fine, although I did experience the bane of any Seche lover's existence: shrinkage! UGH!

I can't wait to layer some Christmas-y looking glitters over this! I think it would make the perfect base!

Disclosure: This polish was provided to me for my honest review. For more information, please see my disclosure policy.
