Like Snap My Dragon, Tart-y For The Party may not be the most unique polish, but it's still a very pretty one. I am always drawn to pastel purples and I love that this one doesn't give me lobster hands. The formula is stellar, especially for a pastel. It covers in two blissfully non-streaky coats.
One negative about Tart-y For The Party though is it gets this stuck in my head. All. Damn. Day. Apparently someone at CG is a Real Housewives fan...
Oh, and you're so welcome for the major earworm. "Ohhhhhhh woooaaahhhh."
This is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThanks Meredith!
DeleteI love this dusty purple! It is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Don't you just love a good dusty pastel?
DeleteIt's purple, so you know I love it ;)
ReplyDeleteBut of course! ;)
DeleteI discovered that this polish is 99% a dupe of China Glaze Secret Peri-wink-le. Tart-y For The Party is seriously only a smidgen dustier. It's almost impossible to tell the difference unless you swatch them both and hold them up to the sunlight. Indoors they look identical. Since I already have Secret Peri-wink-le, I passed on Tart-y For The Party.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting! Thanks for the dupe alert! I don't have Secret Peri-wink-le in my collection, but I'm thinking of doing a comparison post with polishes I do have in my stash, because I am sure there are other super close matches out there.
DeleteOMG! That horrible song is the first thing I thought of when I saw the name of that polish! Hate it! Pretty color though... :)
