I didn't have any formula issues with Goldeneye and it wore really well. I took these photos on day three and there were no signs of tipwear or chipping. I guess theoretically you could use Goldeneye as a layering polish, but the shimmer is so dense I think it works best alone. What you see here is three coats of Goldeneye.
This is one of the standouts from the Skyfall Collection for me and definitely one of my favorite golds now!
Do you like it more than OPI Glitzerland?
ReplyDeleteTough call--they are almost too different of golds for me to say. Goldeneye is definitely more unique though!
DeleteOh... Now I have to buy it ;)
DeleteAIN'T IT PURDY???? Dang, it is so much better in real life than I ever thought it would be from the promo pics.
ReplyDeleteIt really is gorgeous--and much more special and complex than the promos made it look, yes! :)
DeleteWearing this right now and I am in LUUUUURRRRVE!!!!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it fabulous? ;)
DeleteI passed over this one in my pre-order thinking I don't go for gold polish and even less for a glitter - but when swatches started to appear I was blown away by the shade of gold and also how opaque it becomes...so I did buy a bottle in retail and love, love it!
ReplyDeleteIt really is much more of a standout than I thought it'd be. I have only a couple golds and wasn't sure if I'd get this one but I'm glad I did!
DeleteA little too yellow for my tastes, but looks lovely on you!
ReplyDeleteThanks Amanda! Yes, it's definitely a warm-toned gold. I can't always rock 'em but I like this one. :)
