This is three coats. I love that it's opaque enough to easily wear alone and the mix of light and dark green glitter gives Winter Holly added depth. If you like greens, I think this one is worthy of a spot on your holiday wishlist. It has a very wintery, pine forest kind of look to it.

China Glaze Winter Holly
I picked up two polishes from China Glaze's holiday collection: Winter Holly and Glitter All The Way. (Are we at all surprised that I went for the glitters?) First up I'll be showing you Winter Holly, a mix of light green, dark green and gold glitter. I'd seen swatches of this polish where I wasn't too impressed by it and others where my only reaction was "MUST. HAVE." so I wasn't quite sure what to expect once I actually wore it. Thankfully, I fell in love!

So pretty!!! I don't have any of these yet, but I may need this one!
ReplyDeleteThanks Meredith! It's definitely one to consider!
DeleteOn my wish list :)
ReplyDeleteGood pick! :)
DeleteSo pretty. Greens and reds are my favourite colours for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteThanks! :)
DeleteThis is the only shade I picked up from this yr's ChG holiday collection. I love it and have nothing like it in pine green - it looks stunning with a ton of clear topper over it - like tiny holo rainbow lights all over the holiday tree.
ReplyDeleteIt really is a stunning polish! I think it's one of the few must-haves from the collection.
DeleteOk so I don't know what it is about this polish...but NOW I know why I'm really loving these pics..this color reminds me of DRAGON! LOL. Looks great on you. Maybe this is my Dragon fix (that can double as a holiday polish) because I still haven't got around to ordering Dragon yet.
ReplyDeleteDragon--our shared obsession! :) You *NEED* to get it, Elizabeth!
DeleteSo I got this polish and It's a Trap-eze from the Cirque du Soleil collection. Both the last ones left so it was meant to be! Haven't tried Winter Holly yet. Right now I have on Mojito Madness with Trapeze (rainbow glittery pieces) on just the accent nail.
DeleteI wasn't too impressed with the first swataches I saw of this. But once I had it, I liked it.
ReplyDeleteUpdate: So I had my eye on Winter Holly since your post..and was able to snag both this one and It's a Trap-eze from the Cirque du Soleil collection! There was only one left of each of these polishes so it was meant to be, haha. I didn't try Winter Holly yet...right now I have Essie Mojito Madness w/ Trapeze (rainbow glitter pieces) as an accent nail..I'm liking it!
