At first I
thought this might be pretty similar to Essie Lapis of Luxury, but to my eye, Bikini
So Teeny actually has less purple in it. The color may be pretty but the
formula is problematic. It applied extremely streaky and did not want to spread
evenly. Despite that, opacity was not an issue here and I got the job done in
two coats. It’s far from the worst polish I’ve worked with, but it wasn’t
exactly a pleasure to apply.
Overall
though, I really enjoy shades like this one. I love a good pastel! I think I’m
going to wear this as my next pedicure. (I’m currently rocking Revlon Red on my
toes.)

The no-shimmer on nail thing is really frustrating. This looks lovely on you, shimmer or not!
ReplyDeleteThat sucks about the shimmer! It actually irritates me because when I saw a bottle of this at Target, I was really wowed by the shimmer in the bottle. It's still a really pretty blue though.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous blue but what a shame about the no-shimmer and the formula...
ReplyDeleteWish they're available in my country!!
ReplyDelete*SMH Thats one thing about Essie. Most of the time, the shimmer never tranfers well onto the nail as seen in the bottle, and Essies light pastel colors are always streaky (so far all the ones Ive tried). However, the color is GORG on you!
ReplyDeleteLovely blue! I need this one!
ReplyDeleteBlues like this make my heart skip a beat <3
ReplyDeleteVery pretty - but sad to hear yet another Essie that has shimmer in the bottle not translated to the nail. What's up with that over and over again from them? Happens a lot with Essie.
ReplyDeleteEssie often has bad formula. That's a shame :(
ReplyDeleteVery pretty colour!
ReplyDeleteThis colour is gorrrrgeous!
