OPI It's A Piazza Cake

I was really happy to spot the OPI Venice Collection at Sally Beauty over the weekend! Thankfully, the display hadn't been picked over at all (unlike the China Glaze Great Outdoors one, which was missing a lot of colors) so I was able to get the two shades I wanted. I'll be showing you the first one today: It's A Piazza Cake, a very rich burnt orange creme.

This is one of those really different-looking shades--like, say, OPI & Apple Pie--that people are either gonna love or hate. It's extremely unique in my collection and I, for one, really like it. It just screams fall! One look at this polish and I'm picturing crunchy leaves, hot cider and all things pumpkin spice!

Application is just what the name says: a piece of cake! (Sorry, I couldn't help myself.) The formula is lovely and covers in two easy coats.

What do you think of It's A Piazza Cake? Which colors do you want to grab from the Venice Collection?

  1. As much as I love weird colors, I don't know if I could do this one! I know it's not as orange, but I'll probably stick with OPI Ginger Bells and A-Piers to be Tan. This does look awesome on you, though. :) I have a feeling I'm gonna need the Cannoli polish just for the name.

    1. I think you could TOTALLY rock this, Rach! See, I'm the opposite in that I feel like I could never make a shade like A-Piers To Be Tan look good on me. I came soooooo close to buying the Cannoli one because I love almost-whites, but I was convinced it'd be too close to My Boyfriend Scales Walls. Now I see that they aren't total dupes, so I kinda want it again! I also talked myself out of Gelatto On My Mind, because it's basically spot on for Essie Blossom Dandy. But I'm obsessed with Blossom Dandy so I feel like I need both even though they're almost the exact same. *sigh*
