Twinsie Tuesday: Copycat Mani #2

Last year, we did a Twinsie Tuesday theme called copycat mani, where each of us was randomly paired with another Twinsie and challenged to choose a mani of theirs to try and duplicate. Well, we all had so much fun with it that we decided to do it again!

For my first copycat post, I copied Nory's cookies and cream mani. This time around, I was randomly paired up with Nory for a second time! Love it!

Nory is much better at nail art than I am and her manis always use lots of fun designs, so there were plenty of different options for me to consider. In the end, I decided to go with a mani she did back in November where she paired up two of OPI's Skyfall polishes: The Spy Who Loved Me and Goldeneye. You can check out Nory's original mani HERE, then check out my take below!

I used the exact same polishes Nory did. My camera always has a really hard time photographing Goldeneye--it's just so shiny and sparkly!--so I apologize if the picture quality isn't the best. :-/ This is actually the second TT challenge in a row that I've used it for; Goldeneye was my base for last week's ruffian manicure.

For this mani, I started by painting all of my nails with three coats of Goldeneye, then put one coat of The Spy Who Loved Me on top, freehanding the lines to create the triangle shapes. I think it came out okay, I just wish my hand was a bit steadier!

I am very excited to see who all of my Twinsies got paired up with and what manis they chose to duplicate! Have you ever tried to copy a mani you saw online? How did it turn out?
