Pretty & Polished Punk'd Up Betty

The instant I saw preview pictures of Punk'd Up Betty, I knew I had to have it. So I braved the Etsy mania during one of Pretty & Polished's restocks and somehow snagged this on the day it first came out. Punk'd Up Betty has several different types of glitter: matte pink and black round, matte pink and black hex and large pearly white hex. It's a little bit girly and a little bit rock n roll--totally my style!

Bad. Ass. I love you, Punk'd Up Betty. I love you so, so much. This polish strikes the perfect balance between gritty and pretty. Sorry for the glare off the large hex glitter pieces. I took these pictures late at night and the lighting in my apartment is too crappy not to use flash. I'm thinking I'm gonna have to break down and buy/make a lightbox because the lighting in my new place is just atrocious...

Anyways, this polish gives you the illusion of instant nail art, which is awesome if you're like me and aren't too great at actual nail art. This is three coats of Punk'd Up Betty on its own. There were a few little gaps in coverage, particularly around the tips, but it didn't really bother me. I was too distracted by all the amazing glitter!

I have mentioned before that I'm on a serious indie binge at the moment and polishes like Punk'd Up Betty only pull me in deeper! You can purchase Pretty & Polished on Etsy or at Llarowe.

    1. I only have two (this and Sand Art) but I'd like to get more now that they're a bit easier to obtain through Llarowe! They are definitely worth it!

  3. Dude. You snagged this the night it came out!?!? Me and tara tag teamed the crap out of PnP around the time of its release and I'm pretty sure we didn't even get this on its opening night. And you're right--bad. Ass.

    1. I was on a hardcore mission for this polish. I'm not sure how I got it since it sold out in about two seconds but I did! Then I got cartjacked on a full-size bottle of Sand Art and had to get a mini instead, but hey, I got my Punk'd Up Betty so I was more than happy. :)

    1. It's so awesome! I had several people ask me what polishes I used and they were all shocked when I told them it was just one polish.

  5. This polish is insanely cool. Totally reminiscent of something Betsey Johnson would create.

    1. Rat a Tat does look really awesome! I love that PnP is on Llarowe now so the brand is more easily accessible...but it's bad news for my wallet haha.

    1. I can see why! Granted, I don't have near as many PnPs as you, but this is one of the real standouts in her line to me. :)

    1. Absolutely! I totally understand. I always say that if Zoya ever makes a Chelsea polish, I will instantly buy it, even if it's the ugliest thing ever.
