OPI Fifty Shades Of Grey Preview

Ugh, OPI. Just ugh... So yeah, this is apparently going to be a thing. *sigh* Let's just get through this. I think the whole Fifty Shades of Grey phenomenon is really silly, but hey, I'm sure I like plenty of stuff that other people think is dumb, so if it's your thing, more power to you.

While I won't be jumping on the Fifty Shades bandwagon anytime soonl, I will say that there seem to be some pretty greys here and it is nice of OPI to offer the whole collection in a minis set.

The Fifty Shades of Grey Collection officially launches on January 1, 2015. Will you be buying anything from the collection? Any plans to see the movie?

    I am not the least bit interested in the movie. I haven't read the book either, and have no desire to. Now, polish.... that's a whole new ball game. Sold! I will take the polish and I love grays. I can always use more gray polishes, and especially a whole set like this. I can see an ombre mani coming out of this. I don't need the red, but those grays, oh yes.

    I made it through the first two chapters of the book before I had to put it down and stop giggling. I just can't take it seriously knowing it's Twilight fanfic. Not at all planning on seeing the movie, but I have to admit I'm curious about My Silk Tie and Shine for Me. They look like they could be interesting finishes.

      I've never tried to read the book myself, but I did flip through a copy at a friend's house once and that was enough to convince me I don't ever need to read it, haha. Agreed that it looks like there could be some interesting colors in here though!

      YES YES YES. I actually tried to read the books, but had to stop because my inner English major (take THAT, Ana and your stupid Inner Goddess) was rage-screaming her head off.

      A couple of those polishes look mildly interesting, but overall...meh.

      Rach, those are golden!! I am 100% confident that those recaps are more entertaining than the books.

      And Casey, I feel ya. One of my friends had the book out at her apartment and flipping through a few pages was enough to give me a rage headache!
