For $3.99, you are getting a lot of product. There are six tubes of steel balls (each measures 5 cm high and is filled to about the halfway mark), glue, a mini nail file and a mini orange stick. The kit is nice and compact; the perfect size for traveling or taking over to a friend's house for a fun girls' night.
Each set of beads comes in a little vial with a plastic stopper on top. I'd guesstimate that each tube contains about enough beads for a full manicure (as in all ten nails covered). One of six the tubes contains several different colors of beads, while the other five all have a single color inside (iridescent white, pink, lavender, fuchsia and black).You could easily mix the different vials though if you want to create a different mosaic effect.
Although glue is included in the kit, I honestly find wet polish works just fine to bond the beads to the nail, so that's what I did when playing around with this kit. I messed around with the glue a bit though just to see what it was like and it has a very fluid, workable texture. It's a nice extra to have on-hand and if you don't want to use it with the beads, you can use it for other nail art, like fimo pieces or any type of 3-D nail decoration.

Both of the caviar kits I've tried so far have smaller-sized beads (resist...urge...to make...balls-related joke), which I think stay on easier than larger ones and also have a less bothersome texture. Most of the time I forgot these were even there and I didn't have to worry about leaving a trail of beads behind me wherever I went, because they stayed put pretty well. I wore this mani for over 24 hours (including a long day at work, where I was hard on my hands) and by the time I took it off, I was missing a big patch of beads on my left ringer finger, but the accent nail on my right hand only had one small area that was missing beads. I'm sure this mani would last even longer with the glue.
Overall, I'm extremely pleased with this kit. I think it's a fantastic value and the product itself is fabulous! Born Pretty makes some of the best nail sets out there and this one is another home run! It helps too that their prices are all extremely reasonable and international shipping is free. This kit would make an awesome choice for anyone wanting to get into caviar manis and at this price, you could even use these kits as fun party favors--or, let's be real here, a guilt-free treat for yourself!
