It's time for another installment of Twinsie Tuesday! On Twinsie Tuesday, myself and several other wonderful bloggers post a mani that fits within a particular theme. This week's theme is "famous dupe." I thought this would be a great chance to show you a dupe that's not only well-known but also was recently re-released: Revlon Perplex! The new name this goes by is Naughty but back when it was limited edition it went by Perplex and that's the name my bottle has since I originally picked this baby up on ebay--for retail price, luckily! Perplex is a greyish purple polish with a shot of rich purple shimmer and it's a dupe for Chanel Paradoxal.
The formula on Perplex is great and covers in two coats. I love the purple shimmer in this polish. The base color is nice on its own but the shimmer gives it that extra kick. The overall look is very chic; perfect for fall and winter months.
If you like this beauty and don't have it in your collection yet, you can spot it under the name Naughty in stores, as I mentioned above. It's part of Revlon's new core selection which features some new polishes as well as re-launches of past limited edition polishes, including some great Deborah Lippmann and Chanel dupes!
Be sure to check out some more duping action today on the other Twinsie Tuesday blogs below!

This is such an awesome dupe!!! LOVE IT! I actually JUST bought it the other day. Beautiful swatch! I think its so awesome that you guys do the Twinsie Tuesday. Hopefully, one day I can be connected with other bloggers and do this as well! (= Keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteThank you! It really is a cool color--and gotta love the price! Let Amanda from Amandalandish know if you'd like to get involved with Twinsie Tuesday! We just added another blogger this week so I'm sure there's room for another. :)
DeletePerplex seems to be popular today. Nice swatches ;0).
ReplyDeleteThank you! And yes, it certainly is! What can I say--we all have genius taste in polish haha.
DeleteLovely!! :D I agree with MariJo; at least three of us have done this colour! :D Definitely "twinsies". ^-^
ReplyDeleteI was surprised so many of us picked it but just goes to show what a lovely polish it is! And yes, we went the extra mile to become super twinsies apparently haha.
DeleteUgh, I need this polish in my life! Incredibly pretty.
ReplyDeleteCan't beat the color or the price! I love these drugstore dupes. :)
DeleteI really need to pick this one up soon. It's such a pretty color and who wouldn't want a dupe that is a fraction of the cost of a Chanel polish? It makes me super happy when affordable brands make dupes.
ReplyDeleteMe too, I get so excited when Revlon puts out their Chanel dupes! It's really great for a college budget!
DeleteSuch a beautiful polish! Great choice!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Deleteoh i love this on you, im gonna need to pick this up :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! :)
DeleteLove it! Especially since I chose it as well! Ashley chose it also which makes this probably a perfect choice...in my completely humble and unbiased opinion ;)
ReplyDeleteYes, the fact that all of us chose it testifies to what a lovely polish it is! :)
DeleteGreat choice! I have this in my untried stash, I feel like I definitely need to dig it out. :)
ReplyDeleteTotally worth digging out! It sat in my untrieds for quite a bit after I got it but once I saw it was re-released as Naughty I gave it a go and really liked it!
Deletelove it!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeletePerplex is awesome! After seeing it a few times now, I may have to go pick it up!
ReplyDeleteI think you'd really like it! Aside from the obvious Chanel match, I can't think of another polish quite like it!
