(Orly Rococo A Go-Go, two coats plus one topcoat)
I used two coats here and the formula was great. Rococo A Go-Go, again like The One That Got Away, definitely has that lit from within look. The base color is vampy but the shimmer also makes this kind of cheery; a very sexy shade overall. If you want to save a buck or two, this is a dupe for Zoya Jem from the Mirrors collection. Although Rococo A Go-Go has the teeny, tiniest bit more shimmer, I really don't think there is enough difference between the two to justify owning both.
Stone Cold and Rock Solid are still my two must-haves from this collection, but if you already have those two or they didn't catch your interest, maybe give Rococo A Go-Go a try. I've got one more Mineral FX polish, Rock The World, to show you and then I want to get around to showing you guys more of the Cosmic FX polishes I have too. I really applaud Orly for taking it to the next level with these FX collections and I hope they make more. I love virtually all the colors from both Mineral and Cosmic FX!
Oh, and one last thing! If you're like me and wondered what the heck Rococo means, I have already gone through the trouble of Googling it for you. :) Rococo refers to a style of late Baroque period art that emphasized ornateness, playfulness and intricacy.
I'm rocking Zoya Jem right now and I have to say based on your pictures they look very similar!

ReplyDeleteI'd been wanting Jem for a while but after I got Rococo and saw how close it was to pics I'd seen of Jem, I couldn't really justify buying Jem too. Jem looks gorgeous though! Being on a budget is the worst!
