China Glaze White Cap
China Glaze White Cap is a sheer white base with shimmering golden glassfleck. This originally came out in the Anchors Away Collection but is now a part of the core collection at Sally. I'm not usually a big fan of sheer polishes but I've had my eye on this one for a while. The gold in it is so pretty!
This is four coats of White Cap on its own. Other than its sheerness, the formula is good. White Cap is also fabulous for layering. Below is one coat over Lime Crime Peaches <3 Cream.
I can definitely see its appeal either way. It's rather unique too; you don't see a lot of white glassflecks out there!

Rainbow Honey Hoof Wrassle
I've got another Rainbow Honey beauty to share with you today from their My Little Pony-inspired Equestria Collection. This one is Hoof Wrassle, which takes its inspiration from Applejack! Hoof Wrassle has a coppery orange base packed with gold microshimmer, holographic glitter and square and hex glitters in three colors: gold, copper and orange. I find Rainbow Honey polishes a bit difficult to cohesively describe since they have so much glittery goodness going on, so I'll just let the pictures do all the talking!
I used two coats of Hoof Wrassle for this mani. The formula has some drag to it but it's not unmanageable. This polish screams "fall" to me! It would make the perfect color for when the leaves start to change. It makes me think of drinking apple cider, which I suppose is appropriate, given the inspiration! If you like orange polishes, you need Hoof Wrassle. I can't think of another polish out there even remotely similar to this one.
I already own minis of the entire Equestria Collection but I see myself purchasing another set of back-up minis in my near future. These polishes are just too pretty to ever be without! You can purchase Rainbow Honey from their official website.

OPI Announces Mariah Carey Collaboration
No teaser pics to go along with the announcement, but I figured you might be interested to know that OPI has announced they'll be releasing a collaboration with singer Mariah Carey this coming January. The announcement promised "bold, beautiful colors," but otherwise gave no hints as to what to expect from the collection. Sizewise, I'm guessing it will be a smaller set, similar to what we saw with OPI's Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj collections.
I'm not a Mariah fan but I know plenty of you ladies out there are! I'll still bite if the colors are pretty though. Are you excited for the collaboration?

Rainbow Honey A Little Kindness
Rainbow Honey A Little Kindness is an incredible glitter from their newest collection, the My Little Pony-inspired Equestria Collection. This particular polish is inspired by everyone's favorite critter-loving pegasus pony, Fluttershy! (Yes, I'll admit that I love the show--big girls can watch MLP too!) A Little Kindness is a clear base with iridescent pink microshimmer and many shapes and sizes of gold, white and pink glitter.
I decided to layer A Little Kindness over a pastel yellow, because Fluttershy herself is yellow! I went with three coats of Lime Crime Crema De Limon as my base. I think this combo looks adorable! Definitely click to enlarge these pics so you can see all of the glittery goodness!
The formula is great and didn't give me any trouble at all. I used two coats here. I think A Little Kindness would look fabulous over a variety of colors, especially pastels. It's such a cute, girly glitter!
I got a ton of compliments on A Little Kindness. I can't remember the last time I wore a polish that got such a reaction! Just about everyone I talked to at work commented on my nails. Even the girl working the drive-thru I stopped at for dinner complimented me on this manicure!
Rainbow Honey's entire Equestria Collection is well worth checking out and I can't wait to show you more of these beautiful polishes! (In the meantime, feel free to check out a guest post I did featuring another Equestria Collection polish, The Element of Magic, HERE.) You can purchase Rainbow Honey at their official website.

Color Club Halo Hues Preview
Color Club is not a brand I typically keep up with, mostly because until very recently, I couldn't even get it where I live other than to buy online. But my Meijer has carried the last couple Color Club collections and I'm really hoping they'll stock Color Club's next release: Halo Hues, a set of six linear holos.
L to R: Harp On It, Cloud Nine, Halo-graphic, Blue Heaven, Cherubic, Angel Kiss
I can never have enough holos (especially linear ones), so I will be stalking my local Meijer for these! I went scouting today but didn't have any luck. My friend and I already have a standing pact that if one of us spots them, we'll buy two sets so we each can have one.
The official release date is the middle of this month, so these should be appearing on shelves shortly! No word yet on whether there will be a price increase for these or not, but here's hoping we can land some holo goodness on the cheap!

Deborah Lippmann for True Blood is Up on HSN
As a big True Blood fan, I've been eagerly awaiting this collection ever since it was first announced. (How awesome is this season, by the way?!) I snagged two of the three sets: Forsaken and Sookie Sookie. I am considering coming back for the third set later on. After all, True Blood always encourages us to do bad things... ;)
