Zoya Caitlin

Although I sullied her with my pretty awful funky French this past Twinsie Tuesday, Zoya Caitlin is actually a really lovely color. It's a beautiful dusty, blue-leaning purple. This seems to be one of those Zoyas that a lot of people have--I see it often on other blogs--and I think it's for good reason. It's an interesting, versitile color that flatters a variety of skintones and also has an excellent formula.

As I mentioned above, the formula on Zoya Caitlin is extremely cooperative. I used two coats here and it covered very evenly. I love the blue undertones in this polish; they make Caitlin a bit more complex than your standard purple creme and make this color especially flattering on cooler skintones--although as I mentioned above I think virtually anyone could rock this shade. There are a couple different dupes out there for Caitlin--SpaRitual A World of Compassion and Color Club Shabby Drab come to mind--but back when this came out it was pretty unique. It's still a super pretty color and definitely worth adding to your collection. In my opinion, Caitlin is a modern classic!
