OPI Stranger Tides

This has got to be another one of my all-time favorite OPI cremes: Stranger Tides from last year's Pirates of the Caribbean Collection. It's a grimey, grey-based pastel green and I love, love, love it!

Apparently I'm really feeling the Pirates of the Caribbean Collection lately, since I've also worn Mermaid's Tears, Planks A Lot and Steady As She Rose in the past few weeks. It's one of my favorite OPI collections, which is kind of surprising for me since it's all cremes. But I really like the grungy lean the colors have to them.

As for formula, I have no complaints. What you see here is three coats. I apologize that my nails look a bit messy around the edges for this mani. I was using Stranger Tides as a base for an awesome layering combo, so I didn't do any clean up before taking these quick swatch pics. But stay tuned tomorrow to see what I layered on top! (Teaser: It's indie and super sparkly!)

  3. I just found and bought this in a TK Maxx in the UK! (Along with OPI Spark De Triomphe.) I haven't worn it yet, but I couldn't pass it up. I love the POTC collection.

  4. I LOVE this one but the most time I wear it with red/green shimmer topcoat by Artdeco.

  5. I found this in tk maxx but it was teamed with an awful ugly polish so I didn't bother picking it up. Love this polish though :)

    1. I hate it when that happens! They always seem to package really random polishes together.

    2. Ugh, seriously? Now I mean liking. The second "looking."
