The spacing is weird on the front where the OPI is practically at the top and a huge gap is between the 3 cities and the measurements. I bought 1 not knowing and I've avoided buying the other 2 I've seen because I don't think they are legit. "Black label" refers to OPI's that have black text on these bottom labels. (This is not to be confused with when OPI switched back to using black text in 2015. "Black label" is used to refer to older OPI's--think early 2000s and late 1990s.)Chelseahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10688547136803053006noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-499878122636089884.post-78400444769184521672016-04-14T21:38:40.450-07:002016-04-14T21:38:40.450-07:00What do you mean "black label" when talk...What do you mean "black label" when talking abt the cap?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05344978836852152616noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-499878122636089884.post-6963462625312942852016-02-28T18:33:19.168-08:002016-02-28T18:33:19.168-08:00Hi Sandi! I just found your blog and so haven't gone through my insane number of OPIs to check them out yet, but will soon.

I have a question about their Nail Envy product. I have two bottles of it with different formulas: One ORIGINAL and one SENSITIVE & PEELING. I already knew about the dimple in the "P" on the cap and the "gears" inside the cap, but I have some variations on these bottles both from each other and from others I've seen in a blogger who was questioning the authenticity of their ORIGINAL Nail Envy. For instance, my font on the front of both labels is WAY different. I don't know if this is a new OPI feature or a fake. I googled the product for ORIGINAL and found *both* labels. One of them has the words one above the other. The other one has the text in one line. The OPI site has the "one-over-the-other" text.

Example:
NAIL ENVY
as opposed to
NAIL
ENVY

Between my two bottles (Original and Sensitive&Peeling, remember), there are also some lid/cap differences. One of them is ever so slightly smoother than the other. Neither is entirely smooth, though. Also, if you look very closely at the bottles horizontally right next to each other, you can see that at the top edge of the lid, one (the one without the dimple in the "P") has a sharper curve from the top horizontal edge to the vertical side surface than the other. I'd post a link to a macro shot of it, but I see you don't allow that. (understandable!)

All this rambling said, it's possible you have zero experience or knowledge about their "fix-it" kind of formulas. If that's the case, my apologies for the intrusion and long-windedness. ;o)

Thanks in advance for any insight!
SandiSKhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16756104411462645232noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-499878122636089884.post-68388814502346096672016-01-30T07:53:39.793-08:002016-01-30T07:53:39.793-08:00Big pro and con of this post: enlightens people wh...Big pro and con of this post: enlightens people who buys OPI polishes and teach them how to spot a dupe. But at the same time enlightens people who make dupes and allow them to make an even more precise and hard to spot on dupes. Not blaming or anything but thought it could be used the other way. My guess would be perhaps since they were made at different points in OPI's production cycle, the original was probably back from when OPI used four labels and the later version was from the period from 2009-2012 or so that they only used three.
